It's a Knock Out 2000
With Keith Chegwin and Frank Bruno

"Great Fun!", "Loads of Laughs!" and "Absolutely knackered" were three of the most popular descriptions after two recordings of Channel Five's "It's a Knock Out", hosted at Melrose Rugby Football Club by Keith Chegwin and Frank Bruno.

Berwick were victors over Musselburgh and Bellingham on the first day, with Melrose winners against Gala and Hawick. The contests were held in the spirit of the show with everyone just out to enjoy themselves and have a good time.

The weather encouraged a bumper crowd for the local derby on the second day when ten foot giants, dinosaurs and gladiators competed for the points and overseen by Keith Chegwin and Frank Bruno.

A senior member of the production team said it was the best venue they had been to yet.
