Melrose Festival Bicycle RideThe Festival Bike ride was attended by 611 riders, the second largest following ever. The event attracts all ages and has proved extremely successful since its "forced" inception in 2001 as a result of foot and mouth disease. As such the town can now claim to have the largest "mounted" event in the Borders - albeit on 2 wheels and not 4 legs! Date: 23/06/2010
