Appointment of Melrosian 2005 Brynmor Thom

Brynmor Thom was appointed Melrosian for 2005 at the traditional ceremony in The Corn Exchange. A social followed the formal proceedings and the evening wound up with an Ex-Melrosians organised function in The George and Abbotsford. During the evening Ex-Melrosians Chairman presented cheques to Age Concern, St Marys' School and Melrose Grammar School to assist with an outing and sports equipment respectively.
