Langholm 0 Jedforest 59

Jed-Forest made comfortable progress to the second round of the Sevens, with a 9-try defeat of Langholm, to set-up a clash with current holders Gala.

Jed killed the tie off in the first half with four touchdowns in opening seven minutes.

First Mark Lee went over in the corner, followed swiftly by Billy Graham between the posts. Kevin Amos converted, before he touched down himself and converted. A further try by Gary Hill, also converted by Amos confirmed Jed’s supremacy at the break. Second half tries by Clark Laidlaw, Mark Lee (3) and Hill added to Langholm’s misery, and Lee converted two and Laidlaw and Hill one each.
